Mountain music for Scottish pipes
A collection of over 60 traditional tunes from the mountainous Southeastern U.S., including music that was featured in 'Piping Today's' article and online supplement on "mountain piping". The book includes melodies from ballads, songs, breakdowns, marches, gospel hymns and shape-note hymns. This music is closely linked to the traditions of Scotland, Ireland, and England, as many early settlers to the region emmigrated from the British Isles.
