Beithe Publishing is devoted to injecting fresh and original repertoire into the realm of Scottish bagpiping. Founded by piper, composer, and arranger Timothy Cummings, this small cottage industry strives to publish a diverse array of piping music that challenges traditional boundaries, while still maintaining the integrity of a remarkable instrument. Ten percent of the profits earned from the sale of sheet music is donated to charity. All of the music is is typeset with Sibelius software and printed by locally-owned Fox Printing (tune collections on 100% post-consumer recycled paper). 'Beithe', pronounced "bay", is Scots Gaelic for birch, a white, papery-barked tree common throughout Vermont and the rest of the North Country.
